Sometimes a regular voicemail just won´t do. Q&A extensions allow you to gather critical information from callers even when you are not available. Use Q&A extensions to ask a series of questions and Grasshopper will combine the answers into one voicemail message.
Gather information from callers right on the phone
- How do Q&A Extensions work?Q&A extensions can be used to ask callers a series of questions and then record and compile all answers into one voicemail. For example, you can record a set of 10 questions that the caller must answer. After each question is answered, the caller presses # and hears the next question. The answers are then consolidated into one voicemail. Q&A extensions are great for order taking and information gathering.
- How many Q&A extensions can I have? The Grasshopper virtual phone system allows for as many Q & A extensions as you need.
- What is the maximum number of questions I can have on a Q&A extension?Technically, you can have as many as 999 questions on a Q&A extension since Q&A extensions are identified by a 3-digit number (000-999).
