This commercial, for virtual phone system grasshopper.com, is meant to resist being zapped away by your DVR fast-forward button.
Since the mascot stays at the center of the screen, the ad wizards figure, its image will stand out in your mind and your mind will be impressionizationalized. This is Mad Men stuff, assuming the show gets to season 50.
